About Bohrium
Named after Niels Bohr, architect of the atomic model. First made in Darmstadt, Germany, by bombarding bismuth with chromium ions. Its atoms last seconds at most. Chemical experiments on a handful of atoms show bohrium forms volatile oxychlorides, behaving like a heavier rhenium, a triumph of single atom chemistry. A pure laboratory creature.
