About Titanium
As strong as steel but 45% lighter. Highly resistant to corrosion, even against seawater and chlorine. Used in aircraft, spacecraft, medical implants, and golf clubs. Titanium dioxide is the most widely used white pigment in paint, sunscreen, and food coloring. Named after the Titans of Greek mythology. The SR-71 Blackbird was 85% titanium.
