About Moscovium

Named for the Moscow region, home of the Dubna team that created it with American partners at Livermore. Made by fusing calcium and americium. A few dozen atoms confirmed, gone in a fraction of a second. Known for years by its placeholder name ununpentium, which took on a life of its own in popular culture. Chemistry unknown.
