About Gallium

Melts at just 29.8C, it will melt in your hand. Used in semiconductors as gallium arsenide for high-speed electronics. The spoof that spoon manufacturers feared gallium spoons because they melt in hot tea. Named after Gaul, the Latin name for France. Used in LEDs, solar panels, and smartphones. Expands when it freezes like water.
