About Praseodymium
Used in magnets for hybrid car motors and wind turbine generators. Praseodymium yellow is a stable ceramic pigment. Named from the Greek prasios didymos meaning green twin. Combined with neodymium in mischmetal for lighter flints. Used in welders goggles to filter out yellow light. Creates a high-index, low-dispersion glass for camera lenses.
