About Neodymium

Neodymium magnets are the strongest permanent magnets ever made. Essential for wind turbines, electric vehicles, and headphones. The magnet in a typical wind turbine contains about 2 kg of neodymium. Named from neos didymos meaning new twin. Used in laser pointers and surgical lasers. China controls about 80% of global production.
